Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2015

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

2015 Ontario Sunshine List: Metrolinx Top Earners

Every year, the Ontario government publishes its annual Sunshine List of public sector servants with six-figure salaries. According to the document, Metrolinx's 359 staffers made the Sunshine List, earning total compensation of $45,489,682.06 in 2014.

At the top of the Metrolinx Sunshine List

Topping the list for the Metrolinx was President and Chief Executive Officer / Président et chef de la direction Bruce Mccuaig, who brought home $361,191.31 in 2014.

Following Bruce Mccuaig was Executive Vice President - PRESTO / Premier vice-président  - PRESTO Robert Hollis, with annual earnings of $274,109.98. Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corp Secretary / Première vice-présidente, chef du contentieux et secrétaire générale Mary Martin made $271,946.35, President, GO Transit / Président GO Transit Gary Mcneil made $258,052.03, and Chief Capital Officer / Agent responsable des immobilisations John Collins round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $250,842.41 for the Metrolinx 2015 Sunshine List.
