Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2016

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Marilyn Ball was Chief Corporate Services Officer Peter Simmons, with annual earnings of $218,431.47. Chief Public Service Officer Julian Patteson made $216,370.98, Chief Operating Officer Dennis Cutajar made $216,370.98, and Executive Director, Planning Daniel J. Kraszewski round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $201,136.68 for the City of Brampton 2016 Sunshine List.
