Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2015

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Following Alastair Summerlee was Provost and Vice-President, Academic Maureen Mancuso, with annual earnings of $330,646.74. Vice-President, Finance and Administration and Risk Donald O'Leary made $273,726.96, Associate Vice-President, Human Resources Martha Harley made $258,233.30, and Vice President, Research John Livernois round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $257,072.63 for the University of Guelph 2015 Sunshine List.

Among employees who received more than six-figure salaries in 2014, 72 received earnings between $100,000 and $110,000 followed by 407 who received between $110,001 and $150,000 , 322 received between $150,001 and $200,000 , 33 received between $200,001 and $250,000 , 5 received between $250,001 and $300,000 , and 2 received over $300,000 at the University of Guelph.
